    Errazuriz è una delle migliori aziende vinicole del Cile da quando è stata fondata da Don Maximiano Errázuriz nel lontano 1870. L'azienda ha sempre creduto molto nell'importanza del terroir, tanto che il fondatore stesso proclamava: "Dalla migliore terra, il miglior vino". Si suppone che Don Maximiano abbia viaggiato per due giorni a cavallo da Santiago prima di arrivare nella valle dell'Aconcagua, vicino alle alte montagne di Andres, dove fondò la cantina originale. Oggi la tenuta è gestita dal discendente di Maximiano, Eduardo Chadwick, che produce una gamma di vini che vanno dai rossi più tranquilli alle bottiglie più serie che possono facilmente competere con i migliori vini del mondo.

    Dopo la vendemmia manuale, la frutta viene fatta fermentare in vasche di acciaio inox e in botti di rovere, mentre il vino giovane viene lasciato invecchiare in botti di rovere francese nuove al 70% per 22 mesi. Dopo un altro anno di affinamento in bottiglia, il vino viene finalmente considerato pronto per la commercializzazione.
