    La tenuta Longview è stata un caseificio per la maggior parte del secolo scorso fino all'arrivo della famiglia Saturno. Oggi i fratelli Mark e Peter gestiscono insieme la tenuta di 65 ettari, sfruttando al meglio l'eccellente terroir per produrre vini australiani di alta qualità ispirati alle classiche uve francesi e italiane.

    Il clima qui è relativamente fresco grazie alla posizione della tenuta vicino ai Mt Lofty Ranges su dolci colline a circa 45 minuti da Adelaide. Per preservare la freschezza, i fratelli piantano le loro uve bianche su pendii esposti a sud, mentre le varietà di uve nere sono piantate su pendii più caldi esposti a nord.

    Questo rosso leggero ed elegante è stato ispirato dai giovani e vibranti vini da tavola italiani, progettati per accompagnare bene cene familiari informali e grandi piatti di pasta e pizza. Il componente principale è il Nebbiolo insieme a una proporzione minore di Pinot Nero, Sangiovese e Barbera. Per conservare molta freschezza e aromaticità, le uve sono state fermentate e maturate in serbatoi di acciaio inossidabile. Ricco di ciliegia rossa brillante, fragola e note più profonde di prugna scura e rovo, questo vino di facile beva è un ottimo abbinamento per tutti i tipi di piatti, dai formaggi duri e salumi all'anatra arrosto, ai primi piatti a base di pomodoro e ai secondi vegetariani.
