Questo maestoso vino israeliano è un blend in stile Bordeaux composto dal 75% di Cabernet Sauvignon e dal 25% di Merlot provenienti da vigneti di prima qualità sulle colline di Gerusalemme. Al naso ci sono seducenti sentori di cassis e bacche scure schiacciate, mentre il primo sorso rivela un corpo pieno, tannini fermi e un lungo finale con sottili note speziate. Maturato in botti di rovere per 14 mesi, Edom è un vino rosso kosher potente e intenso che si abbina bene a piatti sostanziosi di carne rossa come il roast beef, la bistecca e anche le carni alla brace.
La cantina Psagot è una premiata tenuta situata a Binyamin, a nord di Gerusalemme, con splendidi vigneti situati su terrazze di montagna a 700-900 metri sul livello del mare. Le condizioni qui sono ideali per la produzione di vini di qualità grazie alle soleggiate giornate estive rinfrescate dalle brezze delle colline che aiutano a preservare la complessità aromatica delle uve.
Questa è una regione vinicola veramente antica che si ritiene essere la casa di Abramo che coltivava l'uva e coltivava qui migliaia di anni fa.
